    1878 Cent, PR66 Red Cameo
    Sharply Struck

1878 1C PR66 Red Cameo PCGS. CAC. This is a simply splendid proof 1878 Indian cent with outstanding eye appeal; few survivors display such noteworthy cameo contrast. The design elements are sharply struck, and the obverse displays intermingled peach, rose, deep-purple and lime-green coloration. Impressively preserved and free of surface distractions. A small, unobtrusive planchet flake on the neck may identify the piece. Population: 5 in 66 Red Cameo, 0 finer (12/12).
