1879 1C PR66 Red PCGS. A magnificent champagne-tan Premium Gem, virtually devoid of carbon or contact. Although 3,200 proofs were struck, only a small percentage of survivors retain their original mint red color. Population: 25 in 66 Red, 10 finer (8/10).
