1879 Indian Cent, PR67+ Red
Sharp and Reflective
1879 1C PR67+ Red NGC. Snow-PR2. A lovely Superb Gem Red
example of this proof issue, showing mirrored copper-orange fields
and sharp, satiny devices. The reverse has subtle cameo contrast. A
few tiny pepper specks are not bothersome, although a lone fleck on
the right end of the LIBERTY head band serves as a pedigree marker.
This Plus-designated Superb Gem is the sole second finest certified
in the category at NGC (9/25).(Registry values: N2998)From The LaLonde Family Collection.
