Sharp 1880 Cent, PR67 Red Cameo
1880 1C PR67 Red Cameo NGC. Proof Indian Head cents are
difficult to locate in all color designations with cameo contrast.
Indeed, Richard Snow (2009) says: "Such pieces are highly sought
after and usually get good premiums over non-cameo examples." The
current fully Red Gem offering possesses a mostly orange-gold
obverse yielding to a reddish-gold reverse. This sharply struck
piece reveals just a few minute, inoffensive carbon flecks. Census:
