1881 1C PR65 Red PCGS. A stunning specimen with attractive cherry-red color around the perimeter that contrasts nicely against the splendid orange patina in the center. A wonderful cameo-like appearance is seen around the fully struck devices. A few minor flecks keep this piece from Superb condition. PCGS has certified only 27 finer (6/08).From the Estate of Robert R. Rollins Collection, Part Two.(Registry values: N1793)
