    Description

Tied for Finest-Graded, 1881 Indian Cent PR66 Cameo PCGS

1881 1C PR66 Cameo PCGS. A fully struck and virtually pristine premium quality Gem. The attractive surfaces have a pleasing two-toned effect, on both sides, as tan-gold devices seem to float above deep apricot-brown fields. If not for one small carbon spot and a partial fingerprint fragment, both on the upper reverse, the well preserved surfaces could be called defect-free. One of only two specimens graded as PR66 Cameo, at PCGS, with none finer (11/03). (#82332) (Registry values: P1)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22A2, PCGS# 82332)

    Weight: 3.11 grams

Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin and Zinc
