1882 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Lustrous surfaces and rich color provide this Premium Gem specimen with a gorgeous appearance. Orange-gold color predominates, with the obverse in particular displaying a number of splashes of deep red color. A tiny as-made strike-through appears on the reverse between the lower portions of E and N in CENT. A few tiny flyspecks of carbon do not pose a distraction. Population: 29 in 66 Red and Brown, 4 finer (4/14).(Registry values: N1793)
