Description

Superb Gem Brown Proof
1882 Cent

1882 1C PR67 Brown PCGS. Ocean-blue and chestnut-brown bathe this pristine and coruscating Superb Gem. The strike is needle-sharp, and the sole imperfection is a tiny mint-made lint mark on the cheekbone. 1882 proof cents are readily available but most are spotted. Examples with the undisturbed rich colors of the present lot are highly elusive. An unsurpassable numeric grade for the proof date.(Registry values: N1793)
