    1883 Gem Proof Cent

    1883 PR 65 Red PCGS. A premium example, even for the stated grade, with virtually no visible blemishes and a lovely, fully brilliant, untoned appearance. The 1883 has the distinction of being the highest mintage proof Indian cent, but gem, fully red specimens are few and far between. Population: 12 in PR 65, 3 higher (8/97).
