    Description

1883 1C PR 65 Red NGC. The surfaces of this reflective cherry-red example are virtually pristine--a couple of tiny contact marks in the left obverse field are the only imperfections of note. While a few examples exist in certified holders bearing a technically higher grade, it is doubtful that any surpass this example in overall quality and eye appeal. Population: 7 in 65, only 4 finer (5/00).

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22A4, PCGS# 2338)

    Weight: 3.11 grams

Metal: 95% Copper, 5% Tin and Zinc
