Elusive 1884 PR67 Red Indian Cent
1884 1C PR67 Red PCGS. Ex: Larry Shapiro. This high mintage date (3,942 pieces) is relatively easy to locate through Gem proof in all three color designations. PR66 coins are available with a little patient searching, while Superb Gems, such as this full Red example, are elusive. A delicate mix of orange-gold, greenish-yellow, and copper-gold invigorates its immaculately preserved surfaces. The design features are crisply impressed.
