1886 1C Type One PR65 Red PCGS. CAC. Snow-PR3. Ex: Perfection 2. A ruby-red, orange-gold, and lime-green Gem. The strike is close to full, and the coruscating surfaces appear void of hairlines, contact marks, and carbon. Rick Snow writes "it is very difficult to find full red examples" of the proof 1886 cent. CAC must agree, since they have certified only two Type One 1886 proofs as Red, both at the MS65 level.
