The proof 1887 Indian cent is rarely seen in full Red condition, and only three such coins have achieved CAC endorsement: this PR64 Red coin and two finer examples (12/15). This piece displays well-struck design elements with moderately reflective fields. Peach-pink color blankets each side. Population: 14 in 64 (1 in 64+) Red, 10 finer (12/15).
