Incredible Color
1887 1C PR67 Brown PCGS. CAC. This is a singularly
attractive, eye-catching proof with highly reflective fields and
glowing, frosty devices. The obverse shows considerable cameo
contrast with soft tan-gold color over the portrait and deeper
sea-green hues in the recesses, while the reverse is boldly
ocean-blue in color with a "clip" of vivid fire-red along the
upper-right border. A razor-sharp, gorgeous coin. Population: 5 in
