    High-End Registry Candidate

    1891 1C PR66 Red PCGS. This Premium Gem is tied with just three others as the finest 1891 proof cent in Red condition. A handful of Cameo and Deep Cameo pieces are known, but none at PCGS grade finer than the Gem level. Deeply mirrored fields display copper-gold and rose-red hues, and the satiny devices are fully struck. Neither side has abrasions or carbon spotting. Housed in a green label holder. Population: 4 in 66 Red, 0 finer (3/20).(Registry values: N2998)
