1893 Gem Proof Cent With a Full Red Cameo Effect
1893 1C PR66 Cameo PCGS. An early die state, the E in ONE, as well as the same letter in CENT, is closed. Later die states display openings in these letters from extensive polishing. Bright fall foliage red with hints of violet undertones, the amazingly well preserved surfaces show only the tiniest imperfections and a light cameo effect. The well struck devices stand out boldly against the lustrous fields.
