1894 1C PR65 Brown PCGS. CAC. This is a well-preserved Gem example of this proof issue, boasting sharp detail on the headdress feathers and ribbon. The fields and devices exhibit a thick, glossy texture, rather than deep mirroring, while the surfaces display primarily auburn-brown toning, with tinges of coppery-red and steel-blue observed when tilted beneath a light.
