    Surprisingly Scarce

    1894 1C PR66 Red PCGS. Luminous reddish-orange surfaces offer occasional traces of pumpkin. The devices are crisply struck throughout, and overall this proof is attractive for this surprisingly challenging issue. Neither NGC nor PCGS has graded a numerically finer Red representative (8/10).(Registry values: N2998)
