1895 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The 1895 proof Indian cent is not an absolute rarity but this Premium Gem Red and Brown PCGS example is certainly a conditional rarity, one of 20 so graded with none finer (12/15). The surfaces are mostly red and show uniformly impeccable preservation and a razor-sharp strike. No carbon or other distractions are visible; on the contrary, this piece offers excellent eye appeal.
