Description

1897 Indian Cent, PR66 Red
Crimson-Orange Reflective Proof

1897 1C PR66 Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Perfection 2. This fully struck, reflective proof displays minimal carbon freckling and no marks to mention, with crimson-orange coloration and a blush of ruby-red on the cheek. The motifs show light mint frost contrasting with the surrounding mirrored fields. Eye appeal is terrific, as confirmed by the CAC endorsement -- one of three Premium Gem proofs to be so-honored with none finer at CAC. PCGS population: 6 in 66 Red, 4 finer (1/16).
