1900 Cent, PR67 Red
Only One Finer at NGC
1900 1C PR67 Red NGC. Snow-PR1. Sunset-orange mirrored
surfaces show unexpected contrast with the lightly frosted raised
elements on this Superb Gem 1900 proof cent. A short, bold die line
exists at the midpoint of the front neck and repunching on 1 and 9
in the date confirm the Snow-PR1 dies. Not surprisingly at this
high grade, no meaningful distractions are visible even under a
loupe. The strike is suitably sharp and evidence of contact is
entirely absent. A greenish tint graces the lower reverse for
virtually unimprovable eye appeal. Census: 3 in 67 Red, 1 finer
