Description
1903 1C PR66 Red and Brown NGC. Sun-orange color appears over much of this Premium Gem proof, although tinges of violet and steel-blue on the obverse earn it a Red and Brown color designation despite being mostly Red. The strike is sharp and the fields are deeply reflective. Elusive in finer condition.Ex: Long Beach Bullet Sale (Heritage, 5/2003), lot 149, which realized $1,092.50.
