Description
1903 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Most of this Premium Gem proof displays bright yellow-gold color that transitions to orange and then cherry-red. Crescents of pine-green and violet toning along the upper obverse and lower reverse rim appear to account for the Brown aspect of the color designation. This modestly contrasted proof is fully struck and has only a few tiny specks. Population: 42 in 66 (4 in 66+) Red and Brown, 5 finer; 42 in 66 (2 in 66+) Red, 13 finer; 2 in 66 Red Cameo, 1 finer.
