Description

Original Gem 1907 Proof Indian Cent

1907 1C PR66 Red PCGS. While the 1907 has the highest business strike mintage in the series with more than 108 million pieces struck, only 1,475 proofs were produced. This is one of the finest examples known with medium green-golden color on the obverse and a bright cherry-red appearance on the reverse. Nicely mirrored throughout, a number of horizontal die striations are seen over each side as the coin is turned under a light.
