    Description

PCGS 1908 PR 64. First year of the Pratt incuse design and as such always a popular coin with collectors. The coin shows the distinctive dark matte finish characteristic of all proof gold from this year, and there is also a bit of khaki color which is characteristic as well. A strong, high-end example, the only surface flaws we can locate are a couple of shallow marks on each side of the eagle's head and a slight bit of shine on the highpoints of the obverse. Population: 14 in 65, 6 finer.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28E3, PCGS# 8539)

    Weight: 8.36 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
