    1911 $5 -- Obverse Damage -- NGC Details. Proof. Only 139 proof Indian half eagles were struck in 1911, making the issue rare in all grades and conditions. This specimen displays fully detailed design elements, with orange-gold matte surfaces that have the expected nonreflective luster characteristics. There is a large scrape near the top of the headdress.
