Extremely Rare as Cameo
1938 5C PR67 Cameo NGC. A brilliant, boldly struck, and
immaculate example of the first-year proof Jefferson nickel. The
portrait and Monticello are frosty. Proof coins from the 1930s and
1940s rarely exhibit cameo contrast. As of (7/16), NGC has
certified just two 1938 nickels as Cameo, both at the PR67
