Description

1976-S Clad Half, PR70 Deep Cameo
A Registry Set Essential

1976-S 50C Clad PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS. A technically flawless example of the clad Bicentennial proof issue with two tiny toning dots high in Kennedy's hair. The contrast is absolute, and there is no spotting to speak of. The holder itself has several scratches, but these do not affect the coin in any way. Among the more difficult early proof issues in the Kennedy half series, a design that is beginning to appear as though it may be on its last legs if current Mint reviews obsolete it. Population: 20 in 70 Deep Cameo (9/11).(Registry values: N491)
