1841 Cent, N-1, PR65 Red and Brown
Ex: Dan Holmes, Hillyer Ryder

1841 1C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. N-1, R.5. Ex: Dan Holmes Collection. A very scarce proof-only variety attributed by the location of the hair point slightly left of the upright of the 4. This intricately struck Gem displays ample orange-gold, especially on the reverse, though jade-green and cherry-red are equally prominent. An exceptional specimen with an identifying small spot right of the T in CENT. Tied for third finest in the Grellman census. Our EAC grade PR64.
