    From the Pennsylvania Cabinet

    1848 1C N-19, R.6, PR64 Red and Brown PCGS Secure. CAC. The 1848 N-19 is one of several proof-only varieties of the Braided Hair type that share a common reverse die. olive-brown obverse of this Choice proof Braided Hair cent exhibits considerable faded mint red with delicate blue toning. The reverse is fully olive-brown with light blue toning and splashes of orange mint color. This piece is sharply struck with lightly mirrored fields that show no spots or other imperfections. Myriad microscopic die lines are evident on each side. Our EAC grade PR62. Population: 2 in 64 Brown, 2 finer (6/17).
