Grellman Die State a. The small die defect on the front edge of the
coronet attributes the Newcomb pairing. The flashy fields,
mark-free surfaces, and sharp strike are all characteristic of
proof production. The pumpkin-gold obverse appears full Red except
for moderate carbon. The reverse is orange-red but the borders are
dusky and also display forest-green. Our EAC grade PR63.Ex: Orlando FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2009), lot 294; National Money Show Signature (Heritage, 2-3/2014), lot 3713.
