Proof-Only Variety
1857 1C PR66 Brown NGC. N-3, Low R.5. A proof-only variety,
and one of the few proof large cents that are available in
quantity, with a surviving population of 60 to 70 coins in all
grades. This Premium Gem has faded red mint color with medium brown
surfaces and splashes of deep blue on each side. MRB PR62. Census:
