PR65 Red and Brown 1857 Large Cent
Small Date, N-5
1857 1C Small Date PR65 Red and Brown NGC. N-5, High R.5. A
precisely struck Gem with a mark-free appearance and a flashy
reverse field. The cheek, neck, and obverse field are brown, but
much of the initial peach color resides about the stars and
legends. The end of the line for the large cent, aside from
anomalous 1868 patterns. EAC 60.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2275, PCGS# 2001, GSID# 1208)
