Circulated Proof 1898 Double Eagle

1898 PR 50 PCGS. Remnants of the original, deeply reflective mirrored fields remain around the legends of this unquestionable proof striking. The surfaces are rather heavily marked with several larger abrasions on the face of Liberty. Still, a rare opportunity as only 75 proof double eagles were struck in this year.
