    Description

    Affordable Proof 1902 Twenty Dollar

1902 $20 PR58 NGC. This coin is one of 35-40 important survivors of this 114-piece proof delivery. The color is a dominant olive-gold shade. Plenty of the original proof finish is still evident as the surfaces rotate beneath the light, perhaps the most important feature being mirrored reflectivity. Virtually all design elements are sharp in detail, and the scattered light-to-moderate abrasions are consistent with a proof Double Eagle that saw some circulation. A few sizeable contact marks are also noted on the obverse.
