Description
PCGS 1890 PR 50. Even with ten points of wear it is obvious that this is a proof. The fields, although extensively abraded, show an unfathomable depth of reflectivity which is most evident around the more protected areas of the design. A rare coin with only 63 proofs originally struck, Akers estimates that perhaps only 17-20 pieces exist today.
Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28FV, PCGS# 8830, Greysheet# 9687)
Weight: 16.72 grams
