Seldom-Seen Proof 1904 Liberty Ten
1904 $10 -- Altered Surface -- NCS. Proof. The obverse field has been carefully smoothed, perhaps with the aid of a laser. The modified field provides exceptional cameo contrast with the portrait. The reverse has a pleasing, original appearance and has lightly toned peach-red. A stingy 108 proofs were produced.Note for clients in the European Union: This lot is considered by the European Union to be “investment gold”. We believe that it meets the criteria established in Article 344(1), point (2) of Council Directive 2006/112/EC and thus should be exempt from import VAT regardless of the selling price.
