Description
Cameo Gem Proof 1907 Liberty Ten
1907 $10 PR65 Cameo NGC. Earlier in the nation's history, such as in 1883 and 1892, a change in coinage design had led to increased production of proofs. That wasn't the case for the 1907 Liberty eagle, since the proof mintage of 74 pieces was the smallest since 1898. Deep cameo specimens are unknown, with none certified as Ultra Cameo by NGC or Deep Cameo by PCGS. Nonetheless, the present coin has outstanding cameo contrast on the reverse, and obverse contrast is also impressive. The strike is full, as expected of a proof, and the mirrored fields are virtually void of the most trivial imperfections.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GE, PCGS# 88847, Greysheet# 9739)
Weight: 16.72 grams
