1900 Liberty Half Eagle, PR55
1900 $5 PR55 NGC. The proof mintage of 230 half eagles in 1900 was the highest of the Liberty series, making this date an ideal issue for type collectors. This piece has light yellow surfaces with mirrored fields. A trace of wear is noted on the design motifs. The obverse has a slight convex appearance with obvious scuffs in the field.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28D6, PCGS# 8495, Greysheet# 9284)
