1900 PR55 Half Eagle
Deep Reflectivity Remains in the Fields
1900 $5 PR55 PCGS. A remarkably high number (for the time)
of proofs were struck in 1900, with 230 pieces produced. Most
likely a great many were melted as this date is not significantly
more available than others. In spite of brief handling, this piece
retains significant depth of reflectivity in the fields. Light
contact marks are evenly distributed over each side.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28D6, PCGS# 8495, Greysheet# 9284)
