1886 5C PR67 Cameo NGC. The 1886 and 1885 Liberty nickels are the most elusive of the series (excluding the legendary 1913s, of course), and some collectors opt for a nice proof example rather than a high-priced circulation strike, usually of lower quality. This memorable 1886, one of 4,290 proofs produced, offers grayish-white surfaces with excellent contrast.
