1908 5C PR68 ★ NGC. An absolutely stunning Superb Gem proof, this piece has "album-style" toning with concentric rings of rainbow colors extend from the border toward the center on each side. NGC has only certified three PR68 examples of this date, with none finer (2/10), and the present specimen is the only one that has also been awarded the coveted ★ designation.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 278J, PCGS# 3906, GSID# 3059)
