Description
NGC 1894 PR 64. Of the 122 proofs produced a century ago, it has been estimated that perhaps no more than 42 to 44 remain today. This is one of the finest examples known and is the highest grade given by NGC to a non-cameo 1894. There is a light hazy patina that covers the surfaces, but does not affect the illimitible depth of mirrored reflectivity in the fields. There are no obvious or distracting blemishes on either side of special note.
