Description
NGC 1895 PR 63 Cameo. An impressive coin for the grade, this proof quarter eagle has sharp field to device cameo contrast. There is a hazy patina in the fields, but the primary deterrent to this coin attaining a higher grade is a dark planchet flake on the lower jaw line of Liberty. Really quite a nice coin and a good value in a proof gold piece.
