Reflective, Relatively Unmarked Surfaces
1896 $2 1/2 PR58 NGC. This reflective golden-yellow proof
looks like it was spent and circulated quite briefly before some
knowledgeable collector snatched it out of commerce, recognizing it
for the special piece it is. Some minor contact is evident along
with light field chatter under a loupe, but much proof surface
