Description
NGC 1897 PR 67 Cameo. Of the 136 proofs produced, it is estimated that today only 45-50 pieces remain in all grades. This coin is tied for finest certified honors with one other piece that has also been graded by NGC. The fields on this coin are immaculate. Overall the piece has a light multicolored haze that tends to subdue the few luster grazes present, one on the neck of the eagle and another on the left wing. A stunning piece of proof gold and sure to elicit much interest at lot viewing.
