Not Sold Description
1900 Select Proof Quarter Eagle
1900 $2 1/2 PR63 PCGS. Easily recognized as a proof, not only by its mirrored fields, but also by the die file mark extending down from the base of the T in LIBERTY. The number of proofs for this turn-of-the century issue was increased to 205 pieces and the relatively high number of survivors ranges in contrast from moderate to none-at-all. The surfaces here are decidedly two-toned and only a few scattered hairlines and small contact marks prelude a higher rating. (#7926)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 288P, PCGS# 7926, GSID# 8579)
