Description

Bright PR62 1902 Quarter Eagle

1902 $2 1/2 PR62 PCGS. Of the 193 proof quarter eagles struck in 1902 probably no more than half that number are extant today in all grades. This is a highly attractive proof for the grade with bright yellow surfaces. The fields are fully mirrored around extremely bold devices on both sides. The obverse and reverse surfaces have some minor abrasions, as expected for the grade, but the overall appearance is still remarkable. An ideal candidate for the type collector.(Registry values: P1)
