1902 Quarter Eagle, Sharply Struck PR64
1902 $2 1/2 PR64 NGC. Probably less than one-half of the 193 proof Liberty Head quarter eagles struck in 1902 are extant today, most of which fall into the Select to Gem levels of preservation. The yellow-gold surfaces of this PR64 specimen display sharply struck design features and are free of mentionable contact marks. A few wispy hairlines preclude Gem status.
