Description
Choice Proof 1902 Quarter Eagle
1902 PR 63 PCGS. One of the more common dates to find as a proof with a mintage of 193 pieces, but far fewer are extant today as recognizable proofs. The fields have an illimitible depth of mirrored reflectivity, and the devices have only scant mint frost with virtually no resultant field-to-device contrast. Lightly hairlined with a pale haze in the fields, but this does little to diminish the depth of reflectivity.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 288S, PCGS# 7928, GSID# 8585)
Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
